HOW TO RECRUIT THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB? Put about 100 bricks in some particular order in a closed room with an open window. Then send 4 or 5 candidates in the room and close the door. Leave them alone and come back after 6 hours and then analyze the situation. If they are counting the Bricks, put them in the Accounts Department. If they are recounting them.. put them in Auditing . If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks, put them in Engineering. If they are arranging the bricks in some strange order, put them in Planning. If they are throwing the Bricks at each other, put them in Operations .. If they are sleeping, put them in Security. If they have broken the bricks into pieces, put them in Information Technology. If they are sitting idle, Put them in Human Resources. If they say they have tried different combinations, yet not a brick has been moved, put them in Sales. If they have already left for the day, put them in Marketing. If they are staring out of the window, put them on Strategic Planning. And then last but not the least, If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has been moved, Congratulate them and put them In Top Management.. A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A WASTED DAY!! |

Reality of life......!
Pencil: I'm sorry
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry because you get hurt because of me. Whenever I made a
mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes
vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do
this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though
one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm
actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad.
This conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational.
Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're
always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along
the way, they get hurt, and become smaller / older, and eventually pass on.
Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents
are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate
seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.
All my life, I've been the pencil. And it pains me to see the eraser that is
my parents getting smaller and smaller each day. For I know that one day,
all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used
to have.
This is to all the parents & their children out there.
Always respect parents..!!
