Funniest joke
Little kid walks into a taxi and sits right behind the driver and
starts
yelling,
''If my dad was a bull and my mom a cow I'd be a little bull.''
The driver starts getting mad at the noisy kid, who continues with,
''If my dad was an elephant and my mom a girl elephant I would be a
little
Elephant.''
The kid goes on with several animals until the taxi driver gets angry
and yells at the kid, ''What if your dad was a drunker and your mom
was a prostitute?!''
The kid smiles and says, ''I would be a taxi driver!''

Will you ever understand me?
They have been married for two years. He loves literature and often posts his work on the net, but nobody ever reads them. He is also into photography and he handles their wedding photos. He loves her very much. Likewise with her. She has a quick temper and always bullies him. He is a gentleman and always gives in to her.
Today, she's being willful again.
Her: "Why can't you be the photographer for my friend's wedding? She promised she'd pay."
Him: "I don't have time that day."
Her: "Humph!"
Him: "Huh?"
Her: "Don't have time? Write less of those novels, and you will have all the time you need."
Him: "I... someone will definitely recognize my work some day."
Her: "Humph! I don't care, you'll have to do it for her!"
Him: "No."
Her: "Just this once?"
Him: "No."
Negotiation's broken. So, she gave the final warning: "Give me a Yes within three days, or else..."
First day, she "withheld" the kitchen, bathroom, computer, refrigerator, television, hi-fi... Except the double bed, to show her "benevolence".
Of course, she has to sleep on it too. He didn't mind, as he still has some cash in his pockets.
Second day, she conducted a raid and removed everything from his pockets and warned, "Seek any external help, and you bear the consequences."
He's nervous now. That night, on the bed, he begs for mercy, hoping that she'll end this state. She doesn't give a damn. No way am I giving in, whatever he says. Until he agrees.
Third day, night. On the bed. He's lying on the bed, looking to one side. She's lying on the bed, looking to the other side.
Him: "We need to talk."
Her: "Unless it's about the wedding, forget it."
Him: "It's something very important."
She remains silent.
Him:"Let's get a divorce."
She did not believe her ears.
Him: "I got to know a girl."
She's totally angry, and wanted to hit him. But she held it down, wanting to let him finish. But her eyes already felt wet. He took a photo out from his chest. Probably from his undershirt pocket, that's the only place she didn't go through yesterday. How careless.
Him: "She's a nice girl."
Her tears fell.
Him: "She has a good personality too."
She's heartbroken because he puts a photo of some other girl close to his heart.
Him: "She says that she'll support me fully in my pursue for literature after we got married."
She's very jealous because she said the same thing in the past.
Him: "She loves me truly."
She wishes to sit up and scream at him "Don't I?"
Him: "So, I think she won't force me to do something that I don't want to do."
She's thinking, but the rage won't subside.
Him: "Want to take a look at the photo I took for her?"
Her: "...!"
He brings the photo before her eyes. She's in a total rage, hits his hand away and leaves a burning slap on his face.
He sighs. She cries.
He puts the photo back to his pocket. She pulls her hand back under the blanket.
He turns off the light, and sleeps. She turns on the light, and sits up. He's asleep. She lost sleep. She regrets treating him the way she treated him.
She cried again, and thought about a lot of things. She wants to wake him up. She wants to have a intimate talk with him. She doesn't want to push him anymore. She stares at his chest. She wants to see how the girl looks.
She slips the photo out. She wanted to cry and she wanted to laugh.
It's a nicely taken photo. A photo he took for her. She bends down, and kissed him on his cheek.
He smiled. He was just pretending to be asleep.

The cycle of love by Aarti Natarajan
The cycle of love
by Aarti Natarajan
Love is a beautiful feeling, even when it involves the fear of losing the person you love. As Tennyson wrote in In Memorium: “It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.”
EVER SINCE I can remember I had wanted to fall in love. And, not only fall in love, but fall in love with the right person. I wanted someone who would accept my faults and love me for who I am. I hopped from one relationship to another, each time being bitterly disappointed when my knight in shining amour turned out to be the opposite of what I expected and wanted. Finally, I decided that the elusive emotion of love wasn’t meant for me and I reconciled myself to the fact that I might never find my Mr Right. I should have known that God’s sense of humour is wicked, at the very least!
My first interaction with the person I fell in love with was explosive. We were working in the same company and I was his junior. One of my duties entailed transferring calls to him. Once he was on the phone and there were continuous calls coming for him. I was unable to see him, so I leant across my desk and called out to him, only to have him turn around and yell at me. I was so taken aback that I turned red and burst into tears. He had no choice but to come over and apologise, which I grudgingly accepted.
I think that guilt struck him some days later for he took my number and called me up one evening. It was supposed to be just one call but somehow they multiplied. I still remember how I used to go back home daily and crib to my mother that there was this one guy in office I couldn’t stand because he was always so stuck up. And, she used to look at me puzzled, wondering that if I couldn’t stand him how was it that I was talking to him for hours every evening. That was a question I couldn’t answer and didn’t even try to. And, neither did he.
As time passed, we realised that we were on the same wavelength, more so because both of us were trying to get out of destructive relationships at that time. Slowly from mutual dislike emerged a bond of empathy, which led to a lot of advice giving and taking and we started spending a lot of time together. He would come over every evening and we would sit together in his car, sip coffee and discuss the tumult of emotions our respective partners were putting us through. I still don’t know when this friendship blossomed into love - was it when I heard him talking about his girlfriend and felt the first arrow of jealousy prick me, or was it when I found myself waiting for his calls and visits?
I don’t know. And after three years of knowing him and two of loving him, it is still a mystery to me. When I look back now I wonder, was there actually a time when we didn’t know each other? I’m sure God must be having a good laugh for He brought me to the edge of despair before filling my life with sunshine.
This person is the joy of my life - he makes me laugh, he reduces me to tears, he still advises me and there are times when he even irritates me. But when I close my eyes at night, the one emotion that stays with me is the feeling of security that he gives me. We are not officially committed to each other, but some bonds don’t require a piece of paper. The union is already there, between our hearts and souls. And that I feel is above all rituals.
I don’t know what our future holds. His family is against me and being the only son he has a deep sense of responsibility towards them. Each day I wake up wondering whether this will be the day when I will lose him and each night I thank God for letting me share another day with him.
I got a very nice forward the other day. It said - when we were kids, we were eager to grow up and fall in love. Now that we are grown up we have realised that wounded knees were much better than broken hearts. But I would say, give me a broken heart any day, for even if I have to go through the agony of losing him, it will be worth it. For at least I had a chance to love him and be loved unconditionally by him. It’s not important to know if I will be with him 30 years from now, what’s important is that he makes me feel alive even for the 30 minutes that I spend with him. That is the biggest blessing I could ask for. The rest, as they say, is a bonus.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his
5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour."
"Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down. Looking up, he said,
"Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?"

The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense,
then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started
to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that
Rs.50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the
door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.
"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy."I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.50 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!"
He yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up
bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his
father.
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have Rs.100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
But even better, share Rs.100 worth of time with someone you love. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with
those who really
matter to us, those close to our hearts.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family

Why Women Cry ?
Why Women Cry
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said:
"When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry he! r husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

The Dreams
The Dreams
A wonderful story for any age…..
The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that that lit up her entire being.
She said, "Hi, handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?" I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze.
"Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.
She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of children, and then retire and travel."
"No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
"I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!" she told me.
After class we walked to the student union building and share a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up. At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor. Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, "I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know." As we laughed she cleared her throat and began: "We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. There are only few secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. "You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around who are dean and don't even know it!" "There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight. Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding the opportunity in change." "Have no regrets. The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets."
She concluded her speech by courageously singing The Rose. She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the years end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.
One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.
Remember, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY, GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.

I love you, I hate you
I love you, I hate you
But you are always on my mind
I hate the way you smile
As beautiful as it may be
I hate the way you walk
And I hate the way you talk
I hate the way you smell
And I hate the way you feel
I hate the way you hair shines
And waves in the breeze
But most of all I hate the way
You make me feel
How your always on my mine
The way I see you but your never there
I hate it when I look at another girl
And all I see is you
I especially hate how much I love you
And everything you do
I hate how I can never have you
Or how my heart is not breaking over you
But shattering inside
With each piece of my heart
Contains a tiny fragment of memories I've confined
Memories of you I've held deep in side
Never letting go
I hate the way I feel when I miss you
And I want to break down and cry
I hate the pain that's burning inside
without thoughts of how much I love you
that I could never hide
I hate it and I hate you
But no matter how much I say it
I'll still always love you deep down in side .
But you are always on my mind
I hate the way you smile
As beautiful as it may be
I hate the way you walk

The Greeting Card That Woke Me Up
The Greeting Card That Woke Me Up
Life is easy, change is easy, and everything is easy. If only this was true. How often have we looked at successful
people in almost any walk of life and wished we could have what they have. It seems so easy for them. Well,
nothing is as easy as it seems. But, what makes the difference; what has made other people's success look easy?
Not to long ago, I was faced with what appeared to be a brick wall. After leaving a corporate environment
for greener pastures, I found that the other side wasn't any greener, nor did there seem to be any grass at all.
No matter what I attempted to do, I was invariably knocked back to square one. So, I started another business venture,
again to be knocked back to square one.
I began to doubt my own confidence; maybe I had made a fatal error. Maybe, I should go back to what I did before.
At least, it seemed to be a much more secure and safer environment. As I contemplated my future,
I received a card in the mail from a friend of mine who knew how I was struggling.
The card read: "Persistence; persistence prevails when all else fails".
I sat there reading that card, once, twice, three times. What did these words mean for me?
Were these words just that; words, nothing more? When you're faced with an uncertain future,
when all you try seems to go nowhere, maybe there was more truth to these words than I realized.
Maybe, I hadn't found the right recipe for success. On the other hand, maybe I had given up too soon.
Ever heard the expression 'back up and re-load'. Well, if you haven't,
it meant to me that I should start again but this time internalizing the words "persistence prevails when all else fails".
To make a long story short, I did persevere; persistence paid off with a good dose of patience realizing
that a new beginning doesn't emerge to success overnight. After all, in my former corporate career,
I had invested years of education and training to become successful. Why should it be any different
when I started a new business venture?
Failure is the incapacity to learn from your mistakes. Success is the capacity to learn, to persist,
to persevere in order to reach your goal. Life can be filled with failures,
but only those who don't persevere adopt failure as the way it has to be.
Life is easy, change is easy, and everything is easy. If only this was true. How often have we looked at successful
people in almost any walk of life and wished we could have what they have. It seems so easy for them. Well,
nothing is as easy as it seems. But, what makes the difference; what has made other people's success look easy?

A Heart Warming Story For The Soul
One day a woman was walking down the street when she spied a beggar sitting in the corner. The man was elderly, unshaven, and ragged. As he sat there, pedestrians walked by him giving him dirty looks. They clearly wanted nothing to do with him because of who he was -- a dirty, homeless man. But when she saw him, the woman was moved to compassion.
It was very cold that day and the man had his tattered coat -- more
like an old suit coat rather than a warm coat -- wrapped around him. She stopped and looked down. "Sir?" she asked. "Are you all right?"
The man slowly looked up. This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.
"Leave me alone," he growled.
To his amazement, the woman continued standing. She was smiling --- even her white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. "Are you hungry?" she asked.
To his amazement, the woman continued standing. She was smiling --- even her white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. "Are you hungry?" she asked.
"No" he answered sarcastically. "I've just come from dining with the president. Now go away."
The woman's smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm. "What are you doing, lady?" the man asked angrily.
"I said to leave me alone."
Just then a policeman came up. "Is there any problem, ma'am?" he
asked.
"No problem here, officer," the woman answered. "I'm just trying to
get this man to his feet. Will you help me?"
The officer scratched his head. "That's old Jack. He's been a fixture
around here for a couple of years. What do you want with him?"
"See that cafeteria over there?" she asked. "I'm going to get him
something to eat and get him out of the cold for awhile."
"Are you crazy, lady?" the homeless man resisted. "I don't want to go in there!" Then he felt strong hands grab his other arm and lift him up. "Let me go, officer. I didn't do anything."
"This is a good deal for you, Jack," the officer answered. "Don't blow it."
Finally, and with some difficulty, the woman and the police officer
got Jack into the cafeteria and sat him at a table in a remote corner.
It was the middle of the morning, so most of the breakfast crowd had already left and the lunch bunch had not yet arrived. The manager strode across the cafeteria and stood by the table. "What's going on here, officer?" he asked. "What is all this. Is this man in trouble?"
"This lady brought this man in here to be fed," the policeman
answered.
"Not in here!" the manager replied angrily. "Having a person like that here is bad for business."
Old Jack smiled a toothless grin. "See, lady. I told you so. Now if
you'll let me go. I didn't want to come here in the first place."
The woman turned to the cafeteria manager and smiled. "Sir, are you familiar with Eddy and Associates, the banking firm down the street?"
"Of course I am," the manager answered impatiently. "They hold their weekly meetings in one of my banquet rooms."
"And do you make a goodly amount of money providing food at these weekly meetings?"
"What business is that of yours?"
"I, sir, am Penelope Eddy, president and CEO of the company."
"Oh."
The woman smiled again. "I thought that might make a difference." She glanced at the cop who was busy stifling a giggle. "Would you like to join us in a cup of coffee and a meal, officer?"
"No thanks, ma'am," the officer replied. "I'm on duty."
"Then, perhaps, a cup of coffee to go?"
"Yes, ma'am. That would be very nice."
The cafeteria manager turned on his heel. "I'll get your coffee for
you right away, officer."
The officer watched him walk away. "You certainly put him in his
place," he said.
"That was not my intent. Believe it or not, I have a reason for all
this."
She sat down at the table across from her amazed dinner guest.
She stared at him intently. "Jack, do you remember me?"
Old Jack searched her face with his old, rheumy eyes "I think so -- I
mean you do look familiar."
"I'm a little older perhaps," she said. "Maybe I've even filled out
more than in my younger days when you worked here, and I came through that very door, cold and hungry."
"Ma'am?" the officer said questioningly. He couldn't believe that such a magnificently turned out woman could ever have been hungry.
"I was just out of college," the woman began. "I had come to the city looking for a job, but I couldn't find anything. Finally I was down to my last few cents and had been kicked out of my apartment. I walked the streets for days. It was February and I was cold and nearly starving. I saw this place and walked in on the off chance that I could get something to eat."
Jack lit up with a smile. "Now I remember," he said. "I was behind the serving counter. You came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company policy."
"I know," the woman continued. "Then you made me the biggest roast beef sandwich that I had ever seen, gave me a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it. I was afraid that you would get into trouble. Then, when I looked over, I saw you put the price of my food in the cash register. I knew then that everything would be all right."
"So you started your own business?" Old Jack said.
"I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. Eventually I
started my own business that, with the help of God, prospered." She opened her purse and pulled out a business card. "When you are finished here, I want you to pay a visit to a Mr. Lyons. He's the
personnel director of my company. I'll go talk to him now and I'm
certain he'll find something for you to do around the office." She
smiled. "I think he might even find the funds to give you a little
advance so that you can buy some clothes and get a place to live until you get on your feet. And if you ever need anything, my door is always open to you."
There were tears in the old man's eyes. "How can I ever thank you," he said.
"Don't thank me," the woman answered. "To God goes the glory.
Thank him. He led me to you."
Outside the cafeteria, the officer and the woman paused at the
entrance before going their separate ways. "Thank you for all your help, officer," she said.
"On the contrary, Ms. Eddy," he answered. "Thank you. I saw a miracle today, something that I will never forget. And... And thank you for the coffee."
She frowned. "I forgot to ask you whether you used cr me or sugar.
That's black."
The officer looked at the steaming cup of coffee in his hand. "Yes, I
do take cr me and sugar -- perhaps more sugar than is good for me." He patted his ample stomach.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"I don't need it now," he replied smiling. "I've got the feeling that
this coffee you bought me is going to taste as sweet as sugar."
If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing.
If you have missed some of my emails, you have missed a laugh.
But, if you have missed knowing GOD, you have missed everything in the world.
God is love.

~*~"Keys To My Heart"~*~
~*~"Keys To My Heart"~*~
********************
We talk about the key, that opens my heart
A place so shut off, and closed from the start
No thief could break in, no locksmith could pick
No one could open it, with just any old trick
That key has been lost, for oh so long
The door unbreakable, and so very strong
But somehow you managed, you searched and you found
That key to my heart and entered without a sound
I don't know how long, you were actually there
But when I found out, it filled me with fear
How did you get into, a door with a lock
Never saying a word, or bothering to knock
And where has that key been, for all these years
Then all of a sudden, it mysteriously appears
After all this time, I figured it out
And now I know what, this key is about
So if the day comes, that you must part,
you will take with you, the key to my heart
Because that key, has always been YOU,
some thing so precious, so loving and new.
So for all that you are, I thank god above,
for all that you've given, your kindness and love.

Whenever I think of you
Whenever I Think Of You
I Feel So Very Blessed
Trials And Tribulations
Sometimes Put Us To A Test.
A Test That Measures Our Loyalties
Sometimes That Goes Asunder
But Somehow Everything Works Out
And It Isn't Any Wonder.
We Care About Each Other
We Relish To Be Faithful Friends
That's Why We Always Keep In Touch
Loyalty Our Relationship Depends.
I Do Feel Blessed That I Met You
Thankful For Time That's Spent With You
I Hope That This Feeling Is Mutual
Hope You Feel The Same Way I Do.
So Have A Great Day My Friend
May Your Day Be Full Of Love
I Pray The Lord Watches Over You
From His Heavenly Home Above.

What is LOVE???
If you love some one because
You think that she is really gorgeous...
Then it's not love..
It's - INFATUATION. . .
If you love some one because
You think that you shouldn't leave her because
Others think that you shouldn't ...
Then it's not love..
It's - COMPROMISE. . .
If you love some one because
You think that you cannot live with out her touch ....
Then it's not love ..
It's - LUST. . .
If you love some one because
You have been kissed by her ...
Then it's not love..
It's - INFERIORITY COMPLEX............
If you love some one because
You cannot leave her thinking that it would hurt her feelings ..
Then it's not love ............
It's - CHARITY................
If you love some one because
You share every thing with her ...........
Then it's not love........
It's - FRIENDSHIP...........
But if you feel the pain of the other person
More than him even when she is stable
and you cry for her .........
That's - LOVE . . . ......

Boy should say to a girl
Girl: Do i ever cross ur mind?
Boy: No
Girl: Do you like me?
Boy: Not really
Girl: Do you want me?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you cry if I left?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you live for me?
Boy: No
Girl: Would you do anything for me?
Boy: No
Girl: Choose--me or ur life
Boy: my life
The girl runs away in shock and pain and the boy runs after her and says...
The reason you never cross my mind is because you're always on my mind.
The reason why I don't like you is because I love you.
The reason I don't want you is because I need you.
The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left.
The reason I wouldn't live for you is because I would die for you.
The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you.
The reason I chose my life is because you ARE my life.

That's Love!
That's Love!
A group of professional people posed this question
to a group of four-through eight-year-olds,
"What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper
than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
"Love is that first feeling you feel before
all the bad stuff gets in the way."
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend
over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it
for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too.
That's love."
"When someone loves you, the way they say
your name is different. You
know that your name is safe in their mouth."
"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and
a boy puts on shaving cologne
and they go out and smell each other."
"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad
but you don't yell at them because you know it
would hurt their feelings."
"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."
"Love is when my Mommy makes coffee for my
daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him,
to make sure the taste is OK."
"Love is when you kiss all the time.
Then when you get tired of kissing,
you still want to be together and you talk more.
My mommy and daddy are like that.
They look gross when they kiss."
"Love is what's in the room with you at
Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
"If you want to learn to love better,
you should start with a friend who
you hate."
"Love is hugging.
Love is kissing.
Love is saying no."
"When you tell someone something bad about
yourself and you're scared they won't love you anymore.
But then you get surprised because not only do
they still love you, they love you even more."
"There are two kinds of love
Our love. God's love.
But God makes both
kinds of them."
"Love is when you tell a guy you like
his shirt, then he wears it everyday."
"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see
anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."
"Love is when Mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken."
"Love is when Mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and
still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."
"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after
you left him alone all day."
"I know my older sister loves me because
she gives me all her old clothes
and has to go out and buy new ones."
"I let my big sister pick on me because my Mom
says she only picks on me because she loves me.
So I pick on my baby sister because I love her."
"Love cards like Valentine's cards say stuff on them
that we'd like to say ourselves,
but we wouldn't be caught dead saying."
"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down
and little stars come out of you."
"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it.
But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."
"God could have said magic words to make the nails
fall off the cross, but He didn't....that's love.

A FORGOTTEN OLD MAN
I CAME UPON A MAN ONE DAY
WHILE STROLLING,ALONG THE ROAD
HIS FACE,LOOKED TIRED,FULL OF LINES
LIKE HE CARRIED A HEAVY LOAD........
I PAUSED FOR A MOMENT TO SAY HELLO
I NOTICED A TEAR IN HIS EYE.
I ASKED HIM WHAT HIS PROBLEM WAS
AND HE LOOKED AT ME SURPRIZED.......
WHY ARE YOU ASKING? CAME HIS REPLY
PLEASE DONT PRETEND YOU CARE,
I AM JUST A BEGGAR WHO LIVE ON STREETS
AND I DRIFT FROM HERE TO THERE.........
HE HUNG HIS HEAD AND SADLY SPOKE
I USE TO HAVE IT ALL.
BUT NOW I AM LEFT WITH NOTHING
BUT HEARTACHES FROM THE FALL.........
YOU SEE MY DEAR,I SOLD MY SOUL
AND NOW I AM LEFT ALONE,
THIS CARDBOARD BOX BESIDE ME
HAS NOW BECOME MY HOME...........
DONT LOOK SO SAD AND PITY ME
I HAD IT ALL ONE TIME,
BUT GREED TOOK OVER,I WANTED MORE
AND NOW ITS ALL BEHIND............
I SHOOK MY HEAD AND STROLLED ALONG
AND I THOUGHT ABOUT HIS LOST
MY MIND WENT BACK TO ANOTHER MAN
WHO HAD DIED UPON THE CROSS.........
I TURNED AROUND AND HEADED BACK
TO TELL THIS SAD OLD MAN
I KNEW SOMEONE WHO CARED ENOUGH
AND HE WOULD UNDERSTAND........
HE LISTEN AS I TOLD HIM THE STORY
OF JESUS AND THE CROSS
HIS HEART BEGAN TO SOFTEN NOW
FROM THE EMPTY YEARS HE LOST........
WE BOUGHT OUR HEADS TOGETHER THERE
AND I TOOK HIS FRAIL HAND IN MINE
I KNEW AT LAST HE WAS NOT ALONE
FOR MY JESUS HE DID FIND........
AS I SAID FAREWELL I NOTICED HIM
HIS FACE HAD A RADIENT GLOW
THANK YOU DEAR,FOR TAKING THE TIME
FOR A MAN SO WEARY AND OLD.......
AS I STROLLED ALONG THE ROAD AGAIN
I LOOKED UP IN THE SKY,
THANK YOU LORD ,I SAID ALOUD.
FOR SENDING ME THIS GUY...........
GOD HAS NO FAVORITES
RICH OR POOR,HE DIED FOR US ALL..
